Asides from being an absolutely stunning National Trust location, I lived close to Cliveden House growing up (even working at the pub opposite in my teens) so always knew this was an iconic dream wedding venue. When Rob and I visited, we fell in love with it even more.
What made you choose Cliveden House as your wedding venue?
I actually went into Anna Bridal with a completely different style in mind but they just didn’t feel right when I tried them on. When my best friend suggested Davis I remember feeling really emotional when I put it on- that’s when I knew. It is just a gorgeous gown, being so classic yet with a modern twist with the front slit and low back. I felt like a Princess wearing this on the wedding day.
What drew you to the Davis gown – how did you know it was “the one”?
Just a warm feeling in my tummy that this was the right gown. It just felt so right.
Tell us about your YES moment at Anna Bridal – what do you remember most?
Ally is simply amazing. You are made to feel extremely special every time you visit Anna Bridal. The team see brides all the time however they all have this amazing and magical ability to make you feel like the only one in the world. It is a truly special experience and one I will never forget.
How did you find our in-house fittings process?
The sparkle! Just the sparkle says it all- it is so so pretty and works so well with the clean lines of Davis.

The moment Rob saw me in my dress for the first time is a moment I will never ever forget. The pure emotion in his eyes and him telling me how beautiful I looked.
Any standout moments from the day you’ll never forget?
Here comes the cliche… enjoy every moment of everything, and I don’t just mean on the wedding day. Enjoy every single time you put on your dress during your fittings, enjoy walking around Anna Bridal Boutique practicing walking in your gown. It is the whole experience and the build up that contributes to such a final wedding day.
