Tell us a little bit about your dreamy wedding story?✨

We decided that we wanted our wedding to be full of the two things we value most - love and laughter.

Surrounded by our children, family, and friends, we shied away from many traditions but kept the ones that were important to us, walking down the aisle with my Dad, first dance, and the cake cutting. We also added in some less traditional elements to the wedding day, electing to stay together the night before, a speech from the Bride, and a relaxed feel to the entire day.

A celebration to mark marrying the love of my life was the only objective of the day, which made the run-up to the wedding day very relaxed.


Tell us about your final bridal look, what did you wear and how did it come together?
I have never felt more confident or more myself than I did in my beautiful Julian dress by Justin Alexander which we styled with a full length veil and Bella Belle shoes.

I had the best support team possible! The expertise and assurance from Anna and Kirsty at Anna Bridal, the incredible Samantha Davis capturing the day, and Tara Sanger and Jen Worsfold with makeup and hair.

Tell us about your dress shopping at Anna Bridal, what was your stand out moment?
Anna and Kirsty spend time getting to know what you love and don’t love, and their vision, teamed with Alison’s incredible talent, is unmatched.

I will never forget the first time I tried on my wedding dress after the first alterations, I felt absolutely precisely the way I had hoped to feel on my wedding day. Yes, there were tears, but tears of elation!


Do you remember your ‘Yes Moment’ what drew you to the gown? How did you know it was the one?

It was the first gown I put on that I didn’t want to take off - ever!


What advice would you give to other brides when shopping for their dress? 
Be open to Anna and Kirsty’s advice and tips, they truly know what they’re talking about. Think about how you want to feel on your wedding day and I can wholeheartedly recommend Alison for all the fittings, this really took the stress out of the day for me. You can be honest how you’re feeling throughout the whole process and just soak it all up as it really is a beautiful experience.
