BELLA + LUNI

BELLA + LUNI

Tell us about your dream wedding? 🤍

We got married at Ktima Lindos, a beautiful venue located on the island of Rhodes, Greece. Surrounded by stunning sea views and olive trees, it was the perfect setting for the intimate, yet lively celebration we envisioned. The venue offered a blend of traditional Greek charm and modern elegance, which made it feel both unique and personal to us.

We planned a wedding ceremony and receptionwith just over 80 guests, a size that allowed us to truly connect with everyone who attended. The day was filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable moments. From the emotional ceremony under the Mediterranean sun to the lively dancing that went late into the night (and early morning!), the food, music, and atmosphere was just perfect.

What made the day feel truly special was the location and the people. Having our closest friends and family join us in such a breathtaking place was incredibly meaningful - we are so lucky! The setting and the joy of everyone around us created a celebration we will never forget.

Tell us about your final bridal look, what did you wear and how did it come together?

For my main bridal look, I wore the Luni gown by Chosen by Kyha, which perfectly balanced modern elegance with a touch of drama. The structured bodice and flowing silhouette made me feel confident and timeless. To complement the gown, I had a custom-designed veil with a lace trim, which added a soft, romantic touch and felt incredibly special knowing it was made just for me.

My accessories were deeply meaningful and added a layer of personal significance to the look. I wore a diamond necklace gifted by a close friend, a diamond tennis bracelet from my husband, and a blue tennis bracelet from my parents, which was my “something blue.” I also wore diamond earrings that my husband had given me a few Christmases ago each piece held a memory and made me feel surrounded by love throughout the day.

I chose ivory satin platform sandals by Jimmy Choo, which gave me the height I wanted without sacrificing comfort. For hair, I went with a half up, half down style, which felt soft and effortless, while still polished. My makeup was a bronzed and golden look, with Charlotte Tilbury's Pillow Talk Palette used on my eyes, giving me a warm, glowing look that suited the setting and the celebration. Altogether, the look came together in a way that felt authentically me!

In the evening, after our first dance and the cake cutting, I changed into a shorter dress Estelle by Trish Peng. It was fun, flirty, and perfect for dancing the night away.

Tell us about your dress shopping at Anna Bridal, what was your stand out moment?

Dress shopping at Anna Bridal was such a special and memorable experience. From the moment I walked in, the Millie made me feel incredibly comfortable and truly listened to what I was looking for. The boutique had such a beautiful, relaxed atmosphere that made the whole process feel exciting rather than overwhelming.

The standout moment was when Millie suggested that I put the Luni gown by Chosen by Kyha back on, it was like she knew that it was meant for me! As soon as I stepped back into it, despite not having had that 'moment' the first time I tried it on, I felt an immediate sense of “this is the one.” It struck the perfect balance between modern and timeless, and I could instantly picture myself walking down the aisle in it. Seeing my reflection and the reactions of both my Mum and my sister just confirmed that it was the perfect choice.

Anna Bridal made the entire journey so smooth and joyful. It wasn’t just about finding the dress; it was about the experience, and I’ll always remember how special they made me feel during such an important moment.

Do you remember your ‘Yes Moment’ what drew you to the gown? How did you know it was the one?

Yes, I absolutely remember that moment. Although I had tried on quite a few beautiful dresses before, none of them made me feel the way Luni did. It was elegant, modern, and effortlessly striking, everything I had envisioned but hadn’t quite found until then. What drew me most to the Luni gown was the structured bodice, the clean lines, and the way it moved. It had a sense of quiet drama that felt powerful but still soft and romantic. As soon as I saw myself in it, I could instantly picture walking down the aisle.

What advice would you give to other brides when shopping for their dress?

My biggest piece of advice to other brides when shopping for their dress is to stay true to yourself. It can be easy to get caught up in trends or opinions from others, but at the end of the day, the dress should feel like you. Choose something that makes you feel confident, beautiful, and comfortable as it really shows when you feel at ease in what you’re wearing. It should be you wearing the dress not the dress wearing you!

Also, keep an open mind. Sometimes the dress you fall in love with isn’t the one you initially envisioned. For example, I thought that I would end up with something tight, lacey and sparkly! Try different styles as you might be surprised by what you connect with.

And finally, trust the process and enjoy it. It’s such a special part of the journey, so take the pressure off and focus on how you feel in each dress rather than looking for perfection. The right one will make you feel something.

A note from all of us at Anna Bridal:

Bella, it was such a joy to help you find your Luni gown – you looked absolutely breathtaking from the very first moment you tried her on. Seeing your gorgeous wedding photos in Lindos is so special, and I’m so happy I could play a little part in your day. Wishing you both a lifetime of love and happiness together.
With love,
Millie & the team x
