We work by appointment to ensure that we are available to give you our undivided attention and the one to one service we pride ourselves on. We spend time finding out about your style, your theme and the look you would like to create on your wedding day. By arranging an appointment, you will be invited for a complimentary Zoom call to discuss your Wedding and your Dress Ideas! During your appointment in the boutique, you will have complete exclusivity of the boutique for an hour and a half, and the opportunity to try on as many dresses as you wish.
Weekend and Evening Appointments
For Saturday and Evening appointments (after 6pm) we please ask for a deposit of £35 to be paid prior to your appointment with us. During the week the appointment fee is £20. This is fully refundable against the purchase of any dress from Anna Bridal. Payment can be made by card over the telephone or by BACS.
Please call us if you are not going to be able to attend your appointment. We will be able to refund your deposit if you cancel more than 48 hours beforehand, i.e before 10am on the Thursday preceding your Saturday appointment. There will be no refunds for cancellations with less than 48 hours notice, or no-shows on the day. Our Saturday appointments are very in demand, so please let us know as soon as possible if you need to cancel or rearrange your appointment, to allow us to reallocate it to another bride.
Upon request, we are able to offer exclusive and highly popular VIP appointments in the boutique, which will include an extended 2.5 hour consultation and appointment with Anna herself, one to one service, and the opportunity for the bride to try on as many dresses as she wishes! We’ll also throw in a bottle of champagne and a selection of sweet treats for you and your guests to enjoy throughout your appointment! This exclusive experience is priced at £75 for weekday appointments or £95 at weekends or evenings, and would make an ideal gift for your newly engaged friend, or the ultimate bridal shopping experience for yourself! This experience is strictly by appointment only, and please quote ‘VIP Appointment’ when you contact us to book.
Preparing for your appointment
Please feel free to bring along any images you are using as inspiration for your wedding day- we love having a look at your Pinterest boards! During your consultation, we will go through your ideas for the theme and style of your day, as this will be invaluable when we come to looking at the dresses.
Who should I bring to my appointment?
We recommend that you bring people who’s opinion you value the most, and we suggest no more than 3 adults attending your appointment. We advise that children do not attend your appointment.
Please note that photographs are not permitted in the boutique.
Should I have a separate appointment to select my accessories?
We have a selection of veils, hair accessories, jewellery and belts for you to try on during your appointment, however we are more than happy to assist in styling you once you have found your gown, and would be delighted to arrange a separate appointment for accessories, whereby you can try your dress on and be completely at your leisure.
How far in advance should I place the order for my gown?
Most brides will place the order between 6 – 12 months before their wedding as all dresses are specially made for our brides, and usually entail bespoke features. This time frame ensures that you have plenty of time for fittings and delivery of the dress.
What if I am placing an order less than 6 months before the wedding?
We are able to place ‘rush orders’ on many of the gowns (the charge for this service will vary between designers). To avoid disappointment, we recommend that you order your dress as early as possible, however we will accommodate your time scale as best as we can to ensure you have the dress of your dreams on your wedding day.
What is the price range for your dresses?
Our prices start at £1,105 and go up to £5,000 for a couture gown. The majority of our gowns allow for bespoke customisation options of the designs.
Do I need to place a deposit to secure my order?
Yes, we require a 50% deposit to secure the order for your gown. The balance will be due on the date of your first fitting.
The Perfect Fit
Our trained consultants take your measurements to order your dress in the correct size for you, however it is likely that you will still require some alterations to your gown. We invite you back into the boutique to be fitted by one of our professionally trained seamstresses, who will take expert care to ensure that your dress fits perfectly. The fit of your dress is of the upmost importance to us, and our team will work meticulously on your gown until we are completely happy, and you feel comfortable and confident in your wedding dress.
When will my first fitting take place?
We will contact you on the day that your dress arrives in the boutique. We will then schedule in for your first fitting, which will be approximately 8 weeks before your wedding.
How to prepare for my fittings?
Please ensure that you bring with you the shoes and underwear that you plan on wearing on your wedding day. This will ensure that any alterations to the bodice and hemline are as accurate as possible.
You will typically require about 3 fittings, however more fittings will be arranged if required, to ensure that your dress fits absolutely perfectly!
